Funding/Renewable Energy Sources Act EEG

Funding/Renewable Energy Sources Act EEG

High returns with clean energy – with state support through the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG)

Solar power systems represent attractive financial assets for both private and commercial investors. This is guaranteed by the German Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG). In accordance with this act, the electricity generated is fed into the public power grid and reimbursed in the form of a fixed feed-in tariff. This is higher than the standard electricity price and is legally assured for 20 years.

Funding programme for industrial companies

Investment subsidy
Companies based in the new German federal states receive an investment subsidy for acquiring a photovoltaic system under certain preconditions. The subsidy amount is stipulated in the "Investitionszulagengesetz" (Investment Allowance Act - InvZulG) and the subsidy can be applied for from the responsible fiscal authority. This funding is paid in addition to the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) reimbursement and makes the acquisition of a photovoltaic system even more attractive.
