It combines a fossil-fuel boiler or district heating distribution station with the solar power system to form a unified system. This ensures the solar energy is always the first to be consumed. Depending on the weather, it is fed to either the hot water, the heating or both, wherever the best savings can be made. The conventional heat source is only used afterwards.
